Remote Position
The Account Manager will manage the development and delivery of integrated fundraising solutions to a variety of nonprofit clients under the direction of the Account Directors.
Communicate:
Be in touch with nonprofit clients regularly via phone, email, Zoom, etc., and occasional in-person client meetings. Strong relationship skills.
Document:
Write and distribute contact reports confirming key discussions and action items.
Plan:
Work with Account Directors and clients to develop annual plans for direct response fundraising and marketing strategies, tailoring budgets to invest appropriately in various file segments (new donors, current donors, lapsed, etc.).
Analyze and Report:
Continuously monitor campaign results as well as overall donor giving trends, and be prepared to adjust strategies, shift budgets, etc., based on results. Experience working with CRMs, large data sets within Excel and other analytic software a plus. Share significant learnings with clients and agency team members.
Be Curious:
Proactively explore new concepts that merit testing.
Make things happen:
Develop project timelines and manage workflow to ensure timely completion.
Collaborate:
Prepare creative briefs and data select recommendations for client review; work with copywriters, artists, and production staff — as well as list brokers and other strategic partners, as appropriate — to deliver excellent work product.
Review and approve:
Carefully review work in progress — copy, initial art, final art, print or laser proofs.
Contribute:
Participate in agency-wide meetings to share what’s working … what’s not … to brainstorm new approaches … and to continually strive for excellence to help clients grow and fulfill their missions. Attend webinars, conferences and more to continuing learning and be atop the new fundraising trends.
Your Experience:
- 6+ years’ experience in direct response fundraising, or fundraising experience with nonprofit organizations required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from accredited college or university.
- Comfortable with data, Excel, response metrics and identifying trends.
- Willingness to travel overnight to client meetings as needed.
