In recent years, one of the most prevalent challenges facing our industry is summarized with a single word – digital. What began in the late 90’s with the advent of email and online fundraising has morphed into large scale priorities like marketing automation and digital transformation. While you’ve continued to navigate these changes and deliver on mission, it’s been a challenge to stay informed and to separate what’s essential for success from the noise and distraction. 

This month, The Nonprofit Alliance (TNPA) Foundation is proud to host a three-part series focused on the evolving role of technology in our sector. 

Together we will explore concepts like the cloud, data lakes, and machine learning to ground our understanding in definitions and applications that apply to non-technical areas of focus. 

With an emphasis on creating a deeper understanding for non-technical leaders, we aim to equip you to be your own technology advocate, positioning you to harness the power of technology where appropriate to better navigate each challenge and deliver powerful outcomes.

Registering here includes all 3 parts of the series: 

Part One: Tuesday, January 10, 2023: 12:00–1:00pm ET 

We will provide a baseline understanding of what the cloud is (and isn’t) from the perspective of a nonprofit leader. Using information that is clear and objective, we’ll provide a foundation from which you can make more informed decisions. 

Part Two: Thursday, January 12, 2023: 12:00–1:00pm ET 

We will begin to explore more sophisticated applications of cloud technology being used by today’s nonprofit leaders and provide a framework to assess which tools make the most sense for your organization. 

Part Three*: Tuesday, January 17, 2023: 12:00–200pm ET (two hours) 

Leaders from Amazon’s hallmark Working Backwards team will lead an interactive session guiding you in the creation of an actionable roadmap that rapidly brings to life solutions that accelerate the way you lead your business. 

*Registration for Part 1 and/or 2 is required to participate in Part 3.
