Sr. Georgette Lehmuth, OSF is a Franciscan Sister of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, whose headquarters are in St. Louis, Missouri. After final profession, Sister ministered in junior high, secondary and higher education as well as Youth and Young Adult Ministry. She also served on the Leadership Team of her religious congregation during which time she began her Mission Advancement work. Sr. Georgette became the President/CEO of National Catholic Development Conference (NCDC) 2002-2019. During her tenure at NCDC she has been named nine times by The Nonprofit Times as one of the “Power and Influence Top 50” in the nonprofit sector. Sister also served on the Board of the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers and was a recognized advocate for religious charitable nonprofit organizations regarding several key legislative issues. 

She served on a US Senate Commission examining the relationship between Church and State. Sister has presented for many national professional and religious associations both here and abroad. After NCDC, she served as a program manager for the National Religious Retirement Office and later with Support Our Aging Religious (SOAR) as a special program director. Currently, Sister works independently as a consultant and facilitator. She also serves as President of the Franciscan Foundation, as a member of the National Ignatian Volunteer Corps Board and the Alliance to End Human Trafficking Board.

On the first Friday of each month, take a 30-minute break from your busy schedule to nourish your spirit. Designed for members of the Christian Development Council (CDC), this virtual gathering provides a unique opportunity to explore faith-based topics that inspire, uplift, and connect us all. Topics focus on personal growth, spiritual enrichment, and building a sense of unity. From current events to devotional pieces, health tips to passages from inspiring books, our speakers share their passions, creating space for meaningful reflection and connection.
