Moore-THD is looking for a strong Account Management professional to join our high performing Account Management team supporting multiple nonprofit clients. Put your talents to work managing the development and delivery of integrated marketing programs and serve as the direct liaison between internal departments and the client. You will participate in strategy development by providing analytic, strategic, and creative input and database consultation. THD's Account Managers have a strong understanding of CRM strategy and utilize their understanding of campaign analytics to drive client recommendations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Management responsibilities include motivating team members to achieve business objectives. 
  • Directs the activities of the team to maintain effective and efficient operations while ensuring compliance with established standards and practices and fulfillment of critical deadlines.
  • Leads the team planning and management to include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training staff; coaching, developing, and mentoring staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluation and review of team members; staff rewards. Oversees conflict and problem resolution and discipline, in accordance with Moore’s policies and applicable regulations. 
  • Develops and executes all necessary training for the team, from new systems to upgrades and changes, ensuring that the team remains competent and flexible.

 Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Leads strategic, tactical and support functions by collaborating across internal teams in order to meet the client expectations and take action to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Leads internal campaign strategy sessions; reviews previous results and current testing that should be considered in decision-making.
  • Reviews strategy documentation and provides feedback to account teams.
  • Creates and monitors campaign timelines to ensure all deadlines are met, keeping the account team and client informed
  • Approves campaign-level segmentation based on past results.
  • Reviews creative output to ensure campaign objectives are met.
  • Identifies and executes custom analytics to answer additional questions. Presents findings to client.
  • Analyzes results of campaigns and identifies potential opportunities and makes recommendations to account leaders for expanding client programs.
  • Reviews and critiques list plan; communicates concerns to the account lead. Distributes to client, review and solicits approval.
  • Contributes to the development of the annual program budget.
  • May supervise account team staff.
  • Manages workflow, training and mentoring of client account team. Delegates responsibilities appropriately to ensure both short and long-term deliverables are on time.
  • May research and coordinate implementation activities of external vendors.
  • Strives to continuously stay informed about industry standards and best practices.
  • Participates in trade shows by representing Moore and sharing information on company services.
  • Manages client expectations and consults with senior team members when feedback conflicts with agreed-upon strategy.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Knowledge of and experience with marketing for nonprofits, with expertise in one or both of the following channels:
  • Direct Mail
  • Digital Marketing, including any or all of the following: telemarketing, online—email, social or mobile marketing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to meet client fundraising goals.
  • Outstanding relationship building and written/verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to monitor and accurately project campaign performance. Comfort working with data and response metrics and using past results to drive future strategy.
  • Ability to report on results clearly and succinctly.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects in a deadline-driven environment; a resourceful self-starter who can take initiative and follow through on projects.
  • Ability to adapt to change and prioritize constantly shifting opportunities, solving problems as they may arise.
  • Must be able to professionally interact with management at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage and develop staff. 
  • Ability to mentor and be an effective resource for colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational/project management skills.
  • Commitment to delivering error-free work and high-quality customer service to clients.
  • Friendly, customer-service oriented attitude.
  • Must have proficiency in MS Office and a solid understanding of analytics. Advanced Excel skills desired.

 Education and Experience:

  • 6+ years’ experience in direct response fundraising, or fundraising experience with nonprofit organizations required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from accredited college or university, preferably in Communications or Marketing.
