Further is seeking a Media & Creative Associate to help bring digital marketing campaigns to life for our non-profit clients. This position blends paid advertising with creative development, offering hands-on experience in platform management, graphic design, copywriting, and marketing analytics. 

This role is ideal for a digital marketer with 1-2 years of experience who is eager to ideate and design top-notch creative, expand your digital advertising skillsets, build analytical skills, and work with a collaborative team. As a Media & Creative Associate, you’ll gain a strong foundation in all the areas above while also benefiting from growth opportunities at Further. 

This is a hybrid position; the Media & Creative Associate will be required to work two days a week in our Annapolis, MD office.

What You’ll Do: 
In this role, the Media & Creative Associate is responsible for executing digital campaigns from start to finish through design, copywriting, production, optimization, and reporting key results. Below is an overview of the core responsibilities of this position: 

Digital Advertising: 

  • Launching campaigns across Meta, Google, and Bing. This includes managing the audience and creative deployment on Paid Social, and keyword targeting on Search. 
  • Updating internal performance reports for assigned clients each day & sharing notable takeaways with the media managers. 
  • Preparing weekly performance reports and campaign wrap reports for clients, presenting key updates on client calls. 
  • Analyze campaign performance for opportunities to improve response, value, and/or cost per order, optimizing regularly. 
  • Managing clients’ Google Grant Accounts, regularly refreshing creative and identifying new opportunities to drive website traffic. 
  • Assisting the Account Directors in ideating new campaign concepts and creative variations. 

Creative Development: 

  • Developing high-quality, conversion-focused digital ad creative using Adobe Creative Suite. 
  • Assist in reviewing content sourced by clients and developing video scripts for Meta, YouTube, and CTV. 
  • Writing compelling ad copy for Search, Meta, Display, and SMS campaigns 
  • Ensuring all digitally created assets adhere to our client’s brand guidelines and Further’s creative standards. 

Other Core Functions of the Role: 

  • Collecting, analyzing, and responding to comment data from our client’s organic social channels to measure audience sentiment. 
  • Monitoring trends within the non-profit, digital, and marketing industries and sharing findings regularly with the Further Team. 

What we’re looking for: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital media buying or campaign management (Google Search, Bing Search, Meta, Display, Video). 
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Adobe Premiere Pro experience is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design principles, including typography, layout, composition, visual hierarchy, color theory, and branding. 
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and/or Adobe Creative Suite are preferred. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel 
  • Experience utilizing AI tools (Ex: Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT) 
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, paired with the demonstrated ability to organize your work and continuously manage competing priorities 
  • A positive, flexible, and hands-on attitude with a “can-do” mindset 
  • The ability to operate independently and proactively is a must, as is the desire to thrive in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment 
  • Comfort with an “always-on” digital landscape, including occasional after-hours responsiveness when needed 
  • While individual competency is highly valued, a willingness to be a flexible and proactive team player is also critical
