USA for UNHCR is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Business Partner to drive our recruitment efforts and help shape the future of our workforce. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment with Excellence: Take charge of the entire recruitment process, from job requisition to seamless onboarding, ensuring an efficient, engaging, and candidate-first experience that leaves a lasting impression on both talent and hiring teams.
- Rebuild and Optimize Recruitment Process: Redesign and transform the entire recruitment process, identifying opportunities for improvement and creating a streamlined, scalable system that meets the evolving needs of the organization.
- Harness Innovative Sourcing Strategies: Leverage cutting-edge sourcing techniques—job boards, social media, networking, and more—to discover and engage exceptional candidates who align with our mission and values.
- Drive Impactful Interviews and Selection: Lead insightful interviews, offering strategic guidance to hiring managers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and hiring standards. Your expertise will help build high-performing teams.
- Create an Unforgettable Candidate Experience: Deliver exceptional communication and timely feedback to candidates, making sure each interaction is positive, transparent, and reflects our commitment to an outstanding experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Monitor and Optimize Recruitment Metrics: Track key recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of your strategies, using data-driven insights to continuously optimize sourcing, selection, and hiring processes for maximum impact.
- Enhance Our Employer Brand: Champion and elevate our employer brand to attract top talent, running strategic recruitment campaigns and job postings across multiple platforms—job boards, social media, and networking channels—to ensure a diverse pool of candidates.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with HR, hiring managers, and leadership to align on talent acquisition objectives, solve recruitment challenges, and ensure we’re attracting the best talent for the future of the organization. Additionally, help shape onboarding programs that foster continuous learning and development from day one.
- Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Assess and optimize talent acquisition strategies, identifying bottlenecks and recommending innovative solutions that improve efficiency, adaptability, and competitiveness in attracting top-tier talent for USA for UNHCR.
- Process Documentation: Document and standardize processes, creating clear guidelines and consistent practices.
- Change Management and Implementation: Collaborate with L&D to ensure smooth adoption of and training for new recruitment processes and technologies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in the nonprofit sector. Those with nonprofit industry experience will be given priority. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- In lieu of education/degree requirements a successful candidate will have:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage candidate information and documentation with confidentiality and meticulousness to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Remain flexible and open to change, navigating through challenges and adjusting execution tactics as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Proven track record of successfully managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing and interviewing
- Extensive experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS software to manage candidate data and recruitment processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Ability to think critically and creatively to identify recruitment challenges and recommend practical improvements to enhance efficiency and outcomes
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in employer branding to increase visibility and attractiveness to prospective candidates.
WORK LOCATION
Hybrid + New York, NY + May also involve travel to some locations within the company’s region of operations and select donor locations.
COMPENSATION
$91,178 – $109,414
