Going Fast Slowly will allow us to pause together as Christian fundraising leaders, rediscovering that our work is not first about money, but about invitation into mission, joy, and shared purpose. Drawing on the wisdom of Henri Nouwen’s classic little book The Spirituality of Fundraising, we’ll reflect on the paradox of the many “fast” moving pieces our calling requires and our need to be “slow” in spirit. Through guided conversation, we’ll explore how fundraising can be a sacred space rather than a race for results.

On the first Friday of each month, take a 30-minute break from your busy schedule to nourish your spirit. Designed for members of the Christian Development Council (CDC), this virtual gathering provides a unique opportunity to explore faith-based topics that inspire, uplift, and connect us all. Topics focus on personal growth, spiritual enrichment, and building a sense of unity. From current events to devotional pieces, health tips to passages from inspiring books, our speakers share their passions, creating space for meaningful reflection and connection.
